Controls and conditions relating to the development
To bring about a process of change and modernization in the mechanisms of vertical and horizontal expansion at the university, in a manner that achieves scientific sobriety by identifying the primary factors that influence the quality of higher education and increasing the level of its performance in a manner that improves outputs and aligns them with the needs of society and the labor market.
Submitting developments study by the faculties and scientific departments of the university is submitted to the Planning Division for verification, based on the conditions and controls for the creation of ministerial departments and colleges for 2019-2020, To be submitted to the Ministry after the University Council approves the developments and its requirements are completed by ministerial committees that will be assigned with field visits. After the Ministry's approval, a ministerial order for the development is issued after the Planning Division has issued a university order.
The process of preparing the development
Adhere to the ministerial terms and conditions for uploading new departments and colleges to the university's website; providing the new department is rare or non-existent.
Upload the completed (faculty or departments/branches) creation form to the university's website.
For the new part, there should be an analysis of it (introduction - scientific arguments - economic feasibility - vision - mission - objectives).
Preparing a robust curriculum approved by the committees of specialist deans, including theoretical and scientific hours and academic units.
Providing teaching staff on the permanent staff and with the same specialization of the to-be-created scientific department, with no less than (4) instructors holding a doctorate degree, at least one with the title (Assistant Professor), and that the teaching staff have to consistent with the background of the academic subjects. Using data from the Statistics Division, the names, specializations, and locations of instructors will be verified.
The certificate and scientific title must be accompanied by copies of university orders and copies of the transfer and work date orders for the department's teaching personnel.
Providing the financial resources, including (the building, scientific laboratories, and classrooms with at least two halls...) and, if applicable, a complete description of laboratory equipment.
Visual documentation of the building's assets (photographing the instructors' and administrators' rooms and hallways).
The innovation study is submitted through the minutes of the college council and then the university council before being transferred to the planning department for auditing according to the ministry's controls and then returned to the university council for submission to the ministry after obtaining the innovation's fundamental approvals.
According to ministerial directives, the date of creation shall be December 31st of each year as the final date for reviewing applications for creation
Ministerial committees for field visits to development locations ensure that the required material and human resources are available.
