Fellowships

In the context of the Iraqi Ministry of Education, a fellowship is a grant from a state, organization, or university that allows Iraqi students to complete their education in that state or university. This means that your education and living expenses throughout the study term are funded by the donor, not the Iraqi government or its services. Finally (both the donor and the Iraqi Government) have the right to demand you return home after your study period. There are various types of fellowships based on the source of financing, but they all have the same concept.

Funding from (the university), according to the university's fellowship program: This is the primary type of funding you won't hear of through the Iraqi government, but the student is applying directly to the foreign university through its fellowship program; certainly not all universities offer such a program; not all receive Iraqi students, for example, and the university often requests distinguished students to allow them to be entitled to a seat in its fellowship program. You should browse university websites for these programs and find a link to your fellowship program (if any). See his terms, timing, and submission to him. You can view the universities recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education to search their sites for your fellowship programs.

Depending on the number of seats available, several foreign governments provide financial assistance to Iraqi universities as part of cultural exchange agreements with the Ministry of Higher Education or other relevant Iraqi ministries. Suppose a foreign government wants to offer a scholarship to an Iraqi citizen. In that case, it must first contact the Iraqi government through the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations and then provide the Iraqi government with the candidate's conditions, which are often stringent. Finally, the Department of Missions notifies the relevant bodies within the Ministry of Higher Education and other relevant ministries of the scholarship's availability, along with the terms and application process. The Russian fellowships established not too long ago exemplify this type of program.

Scholarships (study fellowships) are sometimes available to students from Iraq (and other countries) thanks to funding from international and international organizations and programs. The Fulbright Program in the United States, the Australian Scholarship Program, and many more. Each has its rules and application process; you can find them via their websites or embassies. You can locate this information using a Google search or by visiting the websites of the respective embassies of the respective countries or the respective Donor organizations. In this instance, you'll need the guts and determination to go alone and get in touch with the program or organization via their website or other internet addresses. Examples of popular fellowship programs are the US Fulbright Program and Australian Fellowship Programs.

Suppose the application for the fellowship is made through the scholarship department itself (and not directly between you and the donor). In that case, you must go through the stage of opening the study file and other steps required by the department.
