Legal Affairs Department

The Department of Legal Affairs is one of the important departments in the University Presidency, and one of the departments affiliated to the President’s Assistant for Administrative Affairs. The department consists of several branches, including:


A-Legal Consultation Department:

Its tasks are to provide legal opinion and advice, in addition to interpreting laws, regulations and instructions.


B-Laws and Claims Department

This department is responsible for issuing orders assigning legal representatives to cases and issuing decisions and judgments.


C-University Housing Division

It supervises the housing complexes of the university and allocates the vacant housing units to the eligible employees according to the regulations and laws.


D-Contracts and Guarantees Department

This section is concerned with following up the study files of students outside the country (scholarships, fellowships, study leave).
