President of Babylon University, Prof. Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasri , signed via videoconference a joint scientific and academic cooperation agreement with his counterpart, the President of Kashan University of Medical Sciences from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Prof. Dr. Ebrahim Kojaki, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Khamis Bandar; the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, Dr. Ahmed Fawzi Halbous; the Director of the Cultural Relations Division, Dr. Ahmed Kazem Khudairi; and the Director of Cultural Relations at Kashan University, Dr. Zahra Karimian.
The agreement included several clauses aimed at developing joint cooperation, among them exchanging scientific and academic expertise, joint supervision of scientific research and graduate students, and organizing reciprocal scientific visits between researchers and faculty members, thereby contributing to strengthening knowledge exchange and advancing the research and educational mission at both universities.
Prof .Dr. Amean Ajeel Al- Yasir affirmed that the agreement is part of the university’s policy to expand its international partnerships and benefit from global academic expertise, noting that using videoconferencing to sign the agreement reflects a commitment to streamline expenditures while maintaining the effectiveness of international scientific cooperation. The President of Kashan University expressed his pleasure at signing the agreement and confirmed his university’s aspiration to build fruitful cooperation with Babylon University in scientific and research fields that take into account global developments.
