The Higher Steering Committee for the Arab International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education and Scientific Research (AIESR2026) convened via the Teams platform, under the leadership of University of Babylon President, Prof. Dr. Amen Al-Yasir. This gathering prepared for the upcoming event, set for November 15–17, 2026, at the University of Sirte in Libya.
Key discussions focused on organizational and scientific matters, including the setup of primary committees and their respective responsibilities, as well as a proposal from Dr. Qasim Al-Ubaidi to develop a Sponsorship Guide for the conference.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Amean Al-Yasiri underscored the vital role of AI technologies in enhancing educational and research ecosystems. He called for greater collaboration among Arab universities to foster an academic framework that aligns with contemporary digital and technological advancements.
