Under the patronage of University of Babylon President Prof. Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir and supervision of Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Mythaq Talib Al-Jubouri, the university s basketball team won the Iraqi Governmental and Private Universities Championship. Organized by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department/Student Activities Division and hosted by Ashur Private University with 64 participating universities, the victory highlighted the players outstanding performance and spirit, led by Profs. Dr. Nasir Hussein Abdul Amir, Dr. Ahmed Amer Mohammed Ali, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wamid Ali Al-Mali.
