University of Babylon President, Prof. Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir , confirmed steady progress on the "Comprehensive Automation and Digital Transformation" project—a top priority aligned with ministerial goals for modernizing Iraqi universities educational and administrative systems. During an inspection tour of scientific and administrative departments, he assessed readiness for shifting from paper to advanced digital systems.
At the Computer Center, staff demonstrated software developments for the transition, affirming full system readiness and up-to-date tech for efficient operations. He also reviewed student records automation in the Registration and Student Affairs Department, where employees highlighted benefits like data accuracy, time savings, transparency, and reduced bureaucracy.
