Under the patronage of University of Babylon President Prof. Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir and supervision of Assistant President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Mythaq Talib Al-Jubouri, the College of Medicine team clinched first place among Babil Governorate s government and private universities. The win came in the qualifiers of the 2026 Intellectual Competition (9th Season), organized by Jabir ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences alongside the Noor Al-Insaniya Message Organization, and hosted by Al-Mustaqbal Private University with participants from various provincial universities.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kazim Mansour Al-Khafaji, Director of Student Activities at the university presidency, noted that the success highlights the presidency s ongoing backing of intellectual and cultural initiatives that build students skills and competitiveness. He reaffirmed the university s commitment to scientific engagements that bolster its reputation among Iraqi institutions.
