In support of international academic cooperation, University of Babylon President Professor Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir joined the Supreme Committee meeting for the "British Academic Bridge" initiative, hosted by the University of Knowledge with presidents from involved Iraqi universities present.
The session opened with speeches by Ministry Advisor Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, stressing enhanced partnerships and higher education development, and University of Knowledge President Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Razzaq, who welcomed attendees and highlighted the initiative s role in advancing Iraqi universities.
Attendees included presidents from University of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriya University, University of Mosul, University of Kufa, University of Babylon, Dhi Qar University, Middle Technical University, Northern Technical University, Al-Mustaqbal University Faculty , and Al-Shaab University Faculty .
President Professor Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir noted discussions on the initiative s key areas, past achievements, future plans, and development mechanisms. The meeting ended with recommendations prioritizing university internationalization and UK scientific collaboration to improve higher education quality and expertise exchange locally and globally.
The committee thanked the University of Knowledge for its warm hospitality, excellent organization, and supportive role in fostering constructive dialogue.
