The president of the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir, inaugurated today several renovated buildings at th Faculty of Basic Education. He was joined by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji; the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Meethaq Talib Al-Jibouri; as well as the Deans of the Faculty of Law, Humanities Education, and Basic Education — Professors Dr. Miri Al-Khaikani, Mahmoud Al-Shammari, and Ali Jabbar, respectively . The renovations included modernizing classrooms, laboratories, corridors, and essential services to elevate the educational environment to meet quality and safety standards. The president Professor Dr. Amean Ajeel Al-Yasir emphasized that the swift completion, adherence to safety protocols, and addressing accessibility for people with special needs show a genuine commitment to creating an inclusive university space that supports students and enhances learning. He stated that improving university infrastructure is an ongoing effort and described this project as a key step in a comprehensive plan to upgrade facilities and improve educational quality and student services.The visit concluded with a tour of the renovated areas, including classrooms, corridors, labs, and sports fields, along with a commitment to monitor and ensure the timely execution of future projects with the highest standards.
