Under the esteemed patronage and presence of University of Babylon President Professor Dr. Amean Ajeel Yasir, the College of Education for Humanities hosted the Second International Scientific Conference titled "Human Creativity and Artificial Intelligence – New Perspectives for a Changing World."
The event drew the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, Babel Health Director Dr. Haider Al-Birmany, several college deans, and prominent local figures. In his opening speech, President AL -yasir welcomed attendees, celebrated Babylon’s historical and scientific legacy, and stressed leveraging AI for precise results, rapid knowledge access, and overcoming challenges across scientific and humanities fields.
Dean Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shamri described the conference as a key platform linking humanities research to AI applications, noting nearly 200 papers submitted by Arab and international researchers, with 95 accepted. The opening featured a folkloric performance reflecting Iraqi solidarity and ended with appreciation plaques for researchers, organizers, and overseas guest.
