With great pride and honor, and through the distinguished and integrated efforts of the leadership of the University of Babylon, characterized by a strong team spirit and headed by the esteemed President, Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, supported by his Academic Assistant, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, and his Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Meethaq Talib Al-Jubouri, in addition to the Quality Assurance Department, its leadership, and its academic and administrative staff, the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation, affiliated with the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a decision granting the University of Babylon institutional accreditation. This recognition was in appreciation of the university’s fulfillment of comprehensive quality and academic accreditation standards, which include the educational institution’s strategic standards, governance, administration, financial and material resources, the competence of the academic staff, students, scientific research, community service, and curricula.
Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, the university president, extended his warm congratulations to all university members on this achievement, which represents an official acknowledgment of the university’s commitment to providing high-quality higher education. This came after a comprehensive evaluation involving a visit by the national evaluation team and a review of academic programs, administrative structures, infrastructure, and research activities. The accreditation serves as a testament to the level of excellence the university has achieved across various scientific, research, and academic fields, as well as its adherence to quality standards and scientific rigor.
Dr. Al-Yasiri affirmed that the University of Babylon continues its journey towards achieving further academic and scientific excellence, thereby enhancing its development and scientific and programmatic engagement, based on well-studied and systematic foundations, aiming to rank among the leading universities locally and internationally.
