Within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and expanding areas of scientific partnership among Arab universities, Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, President of the University of Babylon, met with Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University in Egypt, to discuss ways of joint collaboration. The meeting was held at Al-Mustaqbal University College, attended by its president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, as well as Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, Assistant President of the University of Babylon for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Mithaq Talib Al-Jubouri, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs.
The President of the University of Babylon emphasized that such meetings represent a fundamental step towards openness to prestigious universities regionally and internationally, which positively reflects on the development of higher education in Iraq. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation with Mansoura University to build strong scientific ties among Arab universities.
It is expected that this cooperation will lead to the signing of an official agreement covering areas such as joint scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, organization of scientific conferences and seminars, as well as the development of academic and training programs between the two sides. These meetings affirm the shared desire to advance the educational process and promote scientific research in line with the requirements of the modern era.
