In recognition of Babylon University s outstanding achievement in the AD Scientific Index 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, awarded a "Letter of Appreciation" to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri.
Babylon University secured a prominent position in this index, ranking 3438th globally among more than 30,000 universities, in addition to being one of the 29 Iraqi universities ranked.
In his letter, the Minister commended the efforts made by the university s administration and all its employees in achieving this progress, stressing the need to continue working diligently to enhance the university s position both locally and globally.
It is worth mentioning that the AD Scientific Index is a classification and analysis system that relies on measuring the scientific performance of scientists and researchers in universities and research institutions by analyzing their scientific data published in "Google Scholar." The index aims to evaluate the productivity and scientific impact of researchers, which helps institutions assess their performance, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and thus contribute to improving the quality of scientific research, increasing productivity, and enabling universities to achieve scientific excellence
