The Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Babylon is set to launch Iraq s first higher education program for a Master s degree in Artificial Intelligence. This initiative aims to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and prepare qualified professionals to meet the growing demands of the job market.
The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Wissam Sameer Bahia, confirmed that the college possesses all the necessary human and material resources for this specialization, including advanced laboratories and cutting-edge research. He also mentioned a preliminary agreement with Iran s Amir Kabir University for the exchange of expertise, where students will be able to complete their preparatory year at the University of Babylon and then move on to complete their research year in Iran.
The agreement includes the exchange of professors and researchers, the organization of conferences and workshops, and the exchange of curricula. Dr. Bahia expressed his optimism that this program will contribute to preparing distinguished graduates capable of competing in the local, regional, and global job market.
