The University of Babylon has recently achieved notable advancements in both local and global rankings, particularly in the current period. It has made a significant leap in the AD Scientific Index 2025 compared to the previous year. Professor Amin Al-Yasiri, the esteemed president of the university, announced that it has secured the third position among Iraqi universities in this ranking, reflecting a continued trend of local excellence after being ranked fifth in the 2024 edition.Professor Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, emphasized that this qualitative leap is also evident on a global scale. The University of Babylon improved its position by 87 places, now ranking 3,437th out of more than 30,000 universities worldwide in 2025.
