The DNA Research Center achieved second place as the best distinguished research center at the Iraqi Science Day in 2022, a success made possible through the support and guidance of the university president, Professor Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri, and the oversight of the university s assistant president for scientific affairs, Professor Muhammad Mansour Al-Khafaji.The University of Baghdad hosted a ceremony to honor the winners, attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Naeem Al-Aboudi. During this event, Professor Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri recognized the contributions of Dr. Lubna Abdul Azim Al-Bayati, director of the DNA Research Center, along with a select group of university faculty members.It is noteworthy that the University of Babylon also secured first place as the best government university in the Science Day competition, in addition to winning 13 distinguished scientific awards. This achievement reflects the university s commitment to enhancing academic excellence and supporting scientific research, solidifying its position as one of the leading institutions in higher education and research in Iraq.Through these accomplishments, the University of Babylon continues to demonstrate its dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation within the academic community.
