The University of Babylon has been honored as the Best Government University in Iraq at the "Iraqi Science Day" competition, winning a total of 13 prestigious scientific awards. The recognition was presented to President Professor Amin Al-Yasiri by Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi during a ceremony at the University of Baghdad on December 30. In 2022, the university won six awards across various categories, including outstanding research and patents. In 2023, it continued its success with seven additional awards, reaffirming its position as a leader in academic and research excellence in Iraq.
