The University of Babylon has signed a twinning and cooperation agreement with Al-Madina Al-Ilm University Faculty in Baghdad. The agreement was signed by the university president, Professor Amin Ajil Yaser, and the college dean, Professor Fares Abdul Karim, with the attendance of key officials from both institutions.
The agreement aims to foster new collaborations in academic fields, enhance scientific and research standards, and implement educational and training programs to achieve excellence in scientific, research, and cultural areas. It emphasizes continuous improvement in higher education and community engagement.
Key elements of the agreement include:
-Facilitating the exchange of faculty, researchers, and resources for joint research projects.
-Organizing educational programs such as conferences, seminars, and workshops.
-Sharing library services, laboratory facilities, and administrative expertise.
-Developing a student exchange program that allows visiting students to conduct research without fees.
The agreement also aims to improve administrative staff capabilities through training and quality assurance for academic programs.
