The University of Babylon hosted its first meeting for female scholars focused on sustainable development, titled "The Role of Female Scholars in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals." This event was organized under the patronage of President Dr. Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri and Scientific Assistant Dr. Muhammad Mansour Al-Khafaji, in collaboration with Hamurabi College of Medicine. The meeting aimed to leverage the capabilities of female scholars gained through their scholarship programs to enhance their roles in achieving sustainable development goals and fostering academic progress.
Dr. Hadi Muhammad Ali Al-Moussawi, Dean of Hamurabi College of Medicine, attended and expressed support for the scholars activities. Key participants included several prominent female academics who discussed how to utilize knowledge from their scholarship experiences and addressed challenges faced by female scholars. They emphasized the importance of innovative thinking in overcoming scientific challenges, which could lead to significant discoveries and technological advancements beneficial to society.
