The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Babylon hosted a workshop titled "Causes of the Spread of Suicide in Our Society," sponsored by Dr. Amin Ajil Yasser, the university president, and overseen by Dr. Laith Ali Abdul Rahim, the college dean. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about various factors contributing to suicide, including health, psychological, social, legal, and economic issues. Presentations were given by Dr. Amal Hamza Khalil and Assistant Professor Dr. Ashwaq Makheef, with participation from several students.
