The Chancellor of the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Amean Al-Yasiri, visited the College of Dentistry, where he was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Suha Abdul-Hussein Hindi. The purpose of the visit was to review the college’s future plans for advancing educational and research programs. Dr. Al-Yasiri directed the formation of a committee to identify the college s needs and propose solutions accordingly.

He highlighted the college s role in preparing qualified medical personnel to contribute to the development of the healthcare sector in Iraq and provide healthcare services to the community. Emphasizing the importance of creating an advanced learning environment for students, he affirmed his commitment to supporting the college in achieving its goals and raising academic standards. In line with his dedication to overseeing academic work, Dr. Al-Yasiri toured the educational clinics, laboratories, and lecture halls. During his meeting with the students, he stressed the importance of making every effort to achieve academic excellence and knowledge distinction.
