The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Babylon held the second scientific conference on echocardiography in Iraq, in collaboration with the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad. The event, themed "Echocardiography Elevates Continuous Education and Increasing Expertise," took place in Baghdad over two days, chaired by Dr. Mohanad Abbas Al-Shalah and Dr. Adi Jasim Al-Salehi.
The conference featured numerous lectures and workshops on the latest developments in echocardiography. Dr Al-Shalah emphasized the initial efforts to establish echocardiography training in Babylon, highlighting the selection of top specialists for training diploma students, and discussion on medical education for graduate students.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Haidar Abdul Dhiab, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, along with various academic leaders and specialists in cardiology and echocardiography.
