In order to achieve joint cooperation between international universities and under the patronage of the President of the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Qahtan Hadi Al-Jubouri, the Center for Environmental Studies and Research, and the DNA Research Center, in cooperation with the British Liverpool John Moores University, and the University’s Future College, held the second virtual international conference for environment and science with the “ONLINE” system. Through electronic applications, the session includes environmental changes that affect nature, through the participation of a number of international researches by Iraqi and Arab researchers

The opening of the conference witnessed the inaugural lecture of Dr. Khaled Al-Khalidi from the University of Liverpool, UK, in which he reviewed the importance of green buildings. One of the most important objectives of the conference is to provide an opportunity to publish solid research that contributes to solving the problems of environmental pollution, climate change, and sustainable development, in addition to exchanging experiences between Iraqi and foreign researchers. The Director of the DNA Center, Dr. Lubna Abdel Azim Al-Bayati, said that solid journals were selected to cover the scientific publication of the participating research within Scopus and MDPI.
