Examples about the misuse of the contents of the Iraqi virtual library
- Demo access for Elsevier Sciene Direct
- 1844 magazine and 31 e-book s are added to the sources of the virtual library IVSL-Libhub
- Content of Science Direct is wide & unique. It contains a database for the texts covering reliable titles & addresses of high-impact factor.
- More than 34,000 e-books are added to the sources of the virtual library (Project Gutenberg).
To download full-text articles and send them via e-mail to your friends or outside the institution. Alternatively, to download copies of the articles that have been downloaded to people outside Iraq. Or to allow people who are working in commercial companies to use the library facilities, access to it, download or print the entire periodical, or making multiple copies including large parts of the articles in order to re – produce them as lectures for students. On the other hand, to allow non - registered members use the name of another beneficiary and transit his/her password. Because access to the Iraqi Virtual Scientific Library is not only by users who have been accredited by the participating institutions , so it is not permissible to participate in the name of the beneficiary or use his/her password . Moreover, you must change your password every 120 days to maintain the confidentiality of the system, it is necessary to make sure there are no violations in the license of agreements to publish what has been agreed upon by the participating institutions and publishers in order to keep the system working properly. Publishers have to observe their databases continuously so that they can easily monitor violations and banned use. For this reason, we always ask managers and heads of the institutions who benefit from electronic resources to sign a full agreement with those who are responsible for providing services to the digital and electronic libraries to affirm their consent to the terms and conditions of the license of agreements for Publishing
